As a youthful church, we tend to gravitate towards more contemporary praise and worship. However, when life hits you hardest it's always good to have a hymn in your heart. ​We at Greater Way won't forget the bridge that brought us over. Know that God's word says, "God is a strong tower,"(Proverbs 18:10), and declares that, "You already have the victory"(Exodus 15:2)! Keep the faith, and be steadfast! "If you want to be blessed, pay your tithes and your offering. If you want a little more, give it to the poor."
It is important to give God your tenth of what you make, and then an offering. There are times that your tithing(sowing seed) can be beneficial for you in ways money can't aid in. However, without paying tithes, God said he'd curse you with a curse(Malachi 3:8-12). To continue to prosper, and show God our faithfulness, it is crucial that we give him control of all areas in life. When you leave your home and reach your job, can people see it? When you’re with that deacon that works your last nerve at church, does he feel it? How about when you go home to that family member that’s extremely hard to love? Can anyone that you come in contact with, over the course of your lifetime, feel the fruit of the spirit? The bible states, in ?, that we are read by all men! Make sure that you are a tree that is productive and fruitful. Mediate on this scripture for the week; Galatians 5:22-23

One of the hardest things to do in life is to let go. Whether it's a toxic relationship, or a life outside of God's will. Joseph Campbell once mentioned,
" We must be willing to let go of the life we planned, to have the life that is waiting for us."
Proverbs 19:21 talks about God's purpose being fulfilled in your life regardless of what plans you may have. God also states in, Jeremiah 29:11 , that he has plans for you to prosper; giving you an expected end.  Imagine how much simpler our life would be if we followed God's will, instead of fighting against it.
